Life has a way of confronting us with situations that feel completely impossible doctor’s reports that bring fear, financial struggles that seem unending, broken relationships that feel beyond repair, or dreams that appear buried and forgotten. In these moments, it is easy to lose hope and to begin believing that the story is over. But for the child of God, impossibility is not the end it’s the setup for a miracle.
The Bible is full of testimonies that remind us that God is a Miracle Maker. From parting the Red Sea for the Israelites, to feeding five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, to raising Lazarus from the dead our God delights in showing up where human effort ends. His power is not limited by time, space, science or circumstance.
In John 11, Martha told Jesus that her brother Lazarus had been dead for four days. By then, it was already over in the eyes of the people. But Jesus replied in verse 40, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” And indeed, Lazarus came out of the tomb alive. That same power still works today. He hasn't changed. He still works miracles.
Often, we are tempted to put God in a box, limiting what He can do based on what we see around us. But miracles are not dependent on human logic they are rooted in divine power and deep faith. Faith is the doorway through which miracles enter. It may not be easy to keep trusting when the situation gets worse before it gets better, but it is in that tension that God often shows His hand.
Sometimes, the greatest miracle is not what happens around us but what happens within us. The peace that comes in the middle of chaos, the strength to keep standing when we feel like falling, the healing of a broken heart these are miracles too. Never underestimate the quiet miracles God does inside you, while you wait for the ones you can see.
So today, no matter what you're facing, remember this: God is still in the business of miracles. What is impossible for man is possible with God. Your pain is not permanent. Your struggle is not wasted. Your God is not absent. He sees. He hears. And He moves in ways we cannot predict.
