HE IS FAITHFUL

Sometimes we measure God’s faithfulness by how smooth our lives are. When things are going well, it’s easy to say, “God is good.” But God’s faithfulness goes much deeper. He is faithful not only to bless but also to carry us through difficulty, to forgive when we fall, and to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Even when we don’t understand His ways, He remains trustworthy.

One powerful example of God's faithfulness is found in the life of Abraham. God promised Abraham a son, even when he and Sarah were far beyond childbearing age. Though it took many years for the promise to be fulfilled, God did not forget. In Romans 4:20-21, it says, “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith... being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.” Abraham learned to trust the faithful nature of God, even in the waiting.

In our own lives, we may face trials that shake us loss, disappointment, unanswered prayers. But in those moments, we are invited to cling to the truth that God does not change. He is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). His love, His mercy, His presence they remain constant.

Moreover, God's faithfulness is clearly seen in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we are offered salvation, hope, and eternal life. His death and resurrection are proof that God keeps His greatest promises. As Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 2:13, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself.” Even when our faith falters, He stays true.

Knowing that God is faithful gives us strength to persevere, confidence to pray, and peace in uncertain times. It reminds us that we are never alone. Every promise in His Word can be trusted because He is not like man He does not lie or change His mind (Numbers 23:19). What He says, He will do.
