//Reading from Matthew 4 vs 18-22: The Bible talks of the first disciples who heard the voice of Jesus and followed Him at once leaving everything behind.

Prophet Zimba says; today a lot of people are suffering because they have misplaced the right place of God. Many today have displaced God from His original place in their lives. We forget that God has never and will never be in a second place. God's original place is in our lives.

If we read the bible very well, we discover that where ever Jesus went, He put God first in whatever He was doing. He very well knew that putting God in the second place would invite suffering because God's place is not found in the second ''place '' but rather the first and God is not found in the second place.

In heaven and on Earth, there is nothing that will take God's place. Jesus loved God His father with all His might and put Him first in all He did.

Though Jesus faced shame and ridicule, He never displeased God nor complain or even think of putting Him in the second place, God always held the first position in the life of Jesus when He was here on Earth. Jesus never compared God with His problems, however, people of today when we face persecution, setbacks or disappointment we immediately place God in the second place of our lives and this invites a lot of suffering.

In difficult Times, Jesus always knew that God was always there and When He came into this world, He wanted to choose people in His likeness who would follow God the way He followed God and so He wanted His followers to follow God the same way, putting God always in the first place no matter the affliction, setback or disappointment God should remain God in their lives.
